Route Summary:

As with so much of the offroad cycling in the Chilterns, it is astonishing how far you feel from the built-up South East on this ride. Only 30 miles from central London, you could easily convince yourself you are deep in the West Country. The ride starts from near the Thames at Mill End and offers a mixture of quiet lanes, lovely beechwoods, fine pubs, tough climbs and superb descents.
