The project is led by CycleCity Guides, producers of cycling books and maps, and maps and guides for local authorities and Sustrans. Our mapping is powered by Mapyx, known for Quo digital mapping software, using Ordnance Survey maps. The bookshop is sourced by Cordee, the leading outdoor activity bookshop. And finally, the cycling journey planner is run by Transport Direct, the Department of Transport’s multi-modal journey planner. 

The route download section is not a public route-sharing site, but one offering premium tried-and-tested routes, all of which have been developed by accredited publishers, often appearing in best-selling books or widely distributed cycling guides. The publisher is always clearly identified.
